Past Month Accomplishments:

Carlisle CHILL coordinated Grim Reaper Day. This is a day to symbolically represent and remember those killed as a result of drinking and driving. On average every 33 minutes, a death occurs at the hands of a drunk or impaired driver. A somber bell rang every 33 minutes and a student was removed from class to represent a victim of drinking and driving. True victim stories were displayed in the hall and a hearse parked outside the school building was a grim reminder of the toll of impaired driving.

Upcoming Events:

In November CHILL will be visiting Middle School classes to educate students on the dangers of ATOD use.
